Choose Your Configuration

Standard FRS – Single-Sided

The original Atrius FRS configuration.

This version features Atrius’ purpose-built, textured selector lever and a single-sided control. It is a straightforward choice for customers using compatible mil-spec or full-profile AR-15 fire control groups who do not need an ambidextrous selector.

Best for:

  • Standard AR-15 configurations
  • Right-handed shooters
  • Customers who prefer Atrius’ ergonomic selector design

Selector: Single-sided
Style: Atrius ergonomic lever
Trigger Compatibility: Compatible mil-spec/full-profile and select cassette-style fire control groups

Mil-Spec FRS – Single-Sided

The Mil-Spec Atrius FRS provides the same core FRS system with a more traditional selector appearance.

Its familiar mil-spec-style lever makes it especially well suited for rifles where a traditional or retro appearance is preferred.

Best for:

  • Retro-inspired builds
  • Traditional AR-15 styling
  • Customers who prefer a familiar mil-spec selector profile

Selector: Single-sided
Style: Traditional mil-spec-style lever
Trigger Compatibility: Compatible mil-spec/full-profile and select cassette-style fire control groups

Ambidextrous FRS

The Ambidextrous Atrius FRS adds selector controls on both sides of the receiver, making the system easier to manipulate from either side.

It is an excellent choice for left-handed shooters or anyone who prefers fully ambidextrous controls.

Best for:

  • Left-handed shooters
  • Ambidextrous builds
  • Shooters who want selector access from either side

Selector: Ambidextrous
Style: Atrius ergonomic levers
Trigger Compatibility: Compatible mil-spec/full-profile and select cassette-style fire control groups

G-Lever Ambidextrous FRS

The G-Lever is the most specialized version of the Atrius FRS lineup.

In addition to an ambidextrous selector configuration, the G-Lever expands compatibility to select Geissele trigger systems and other compatible reduced-hammer-profile designs.

Atrius specifically lists compatibility with:

  • Geissele SSA
  • Geissele SSA-E
  • Geissele G2S

Geissele X-Series triggers are not currently listed as compatible.

Best for:

  • Geissele SSA-equipped builds
  • Geissele SSA-E-equipped builds
  • Geissele G2S-equipped builds
  • Builds requiring the G-Lever’s expanded trigger compatibility
  • Ambidextrous configurations

Selector: Ambidextrous
Style: Atrius ergonomic levers with G-Lever system
Trigger Compatibility: Compatible standard fire control groups plus select Geissele triggers

Compatibility

Standard Atrius FRS configurations are designed around compatible mil-spec and full-profile AR-15 fire control groups.

Atrius states that its FRS products have direct compatibility with mil-spec triggers that do not have a U-shaped relief cut and that compatibility also extends to a variety of single-stage cassette-style triggers.

Because aftermarket trigger, hammer, receiver, and fire control group dimensions can vary, verify compatibility with your specific setup before ordering.

Customers using compatible Geissele SSA, SSA-E, or G2S triggers should select the G-Lever configuration.
